My name is Paul Plumb and I am President of Casa Esperanza para Niños (CEPN – House of Hope for Children), an Arizona Corporation. We have been an official 501 (c) (3) organization since May 2002 providing financial support and leadership oversight with our sister corporation, Casa Esperanza para Niños, I.A.P, a Mexico charitable corporation which operates an orphanage in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Casa Esperanza para Niños, I.A.P, currently manages three homes for 45 orphaned-children on the property located at n Pedro El Saucito, 83305 Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. We have very clear near-term vision to accept up to 60 children and a future goal to receive as many as 100 children. We are looking for the generous support of our friends and neighbors to impact the lives of these precious children. Two years ago we constructed a 2000 + square-foot storage facility for donations to material Casa. We are now in the finishing stages of construction for a 2000+ square-foot laundry/shower facility. We will open this building in early 2017 if all goes as planned.
Casa is not only focused on feeding the hungry, it is passionate about impacting the lives of the children for Christ’s kingdom. Casa is a great place to serve Christ and meet urgent financial, psychological, and spiritual needs of our “Casa Kids”. Casa cares for children who have been abused and abandoned by bringing them into a Christian family environment where they are shown Christ’s love. All the children have daily chores and responsibilities that teach them the value of being part of a family unit and learning necessary skills for their future. It costs about $280 per child each month to provide for their needs – totaling ten dollars per day to provide parents, a home, utilities, food, clothing, medical care, and a strong spiritual and educational environment!
Casa Esperanza Para Niños is asked every month to accept new children, but must turn them away because of lack of sufficient facilities and resources. The majority of children at Casa come from families of prostitutes and drug abusers/dealers. They have suffered unspeakable abuse and our goal is to raise them surrounded by and led with the love of Christ. Casa is inviting you to participate in a Strategic Partnership by considering investing in the completion of the remodel of the ranch house or the completion of our current shower/laundry facility project, or to invest in the sponsorship of a specific child.
Casa is passionate about allowing people the opportunity to be obedient to God’s word by loving the poor, clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, and caring for the widows and orphans by sharing the love of Jesus. These experiences have radically changed the perspectives of many and brings a sense of fulfillment that makes each a stronger follower of Christ who is excited to do local outreach as well. Casa has adults on site who assist with translation, so that sponsors can communicate via telephone calls, FaceTime calls, Skype, and emails. This allows the opportunity to see first-hand the impact that a sponsor is making in the life of a child. Casa also offers regularly scheduled trips for sponsors to visit their “Casa Kid” and continue to grow relationships, helping each child become the child of God they are called to be.
We would love for you to be a part of this mission and impact the life of a child.
